Sunny Beaches Cleanup Teams
At this time only court assigned workers may volunteer.

Workers need to be between 14 and 64, be able to walk, have the gift of sight, and the use of both hands. The cleanup project occurs on alternating weekends and involves a maximum of 23 workers per day, eight hours a day on Saturday and 8 hours on Sunday.

Before May 1, 2007, workers meet at 7:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Laredo National Bank Building at 101 N. Shoreline Boulevard, next to the downtown Whataburger. After May 1, 2007, workers meet at 3802 Saturn Road in Corpus Christi, near the intersection of Weber Road and WOW.

A schedule of beach cleanup weekends is attached. Van transportation to and from the beach is provided.

Lunch and water supplies are also provided, along with fluorescent safety vests, leather work gloves, and trash bags.

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY – CLEANUP TEAMS ARE ASSEMBLED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS. The first 23 people who arrive get to go!
